Prep: As a junior was named to the first-teamsof all-conference, all-state and academic all-state and wasall-conference and an honorable mention all-state pick as asenior... Was a four-time honor roll pick... Helped lead Chatfieldto the state semifinals in 2008... Also played basketball andfootball for the Chargers... A top 50 pick as a senior, helpinglead his team to the district playoffs... A two-time Chatfield highschool male athlete of the year... Had an ERA of 1.86 as a juniorwith 37 strikeouts and just seven base on balls... Also hit .462with eight homeruns and 15 doubles.
Personal: Is the youngest of two sons of Mikeand Deb Shannon with an older brother, Matt... Is planning onmajoring in business at Northern Colorado.
