GREELEY, Colo. — Five members of the University of Northern Colorado baseball team have been named to the 2025 NCAA Division I Academic All-District Team, as announced Tuesday by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Jake Storey, Trevor Landen, Brandon Sanchez, Kai Wagner, and Tony Castonguay were recognized for their combined excellence on the diamond and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-District program honors the nation's top student-athletes who demonstrate high achievement in both academic and athletic performance. Nominees must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and meet rigorous competition and eligibility requirements.
This year's honorees reflect the program's growing emphasis on holistic development, balancing the demands of Division I baseball with academic success.
Jake Storey, a junior right-hander from Frisco, Texas, anchored the Bears' pitching staff with 62.2 innings across 14 starts. He showed durability and competitiveness while maintaining a 3.98 GPA as a Finance major.

He also led the team in slugging, OPS (1.010), and total bases (117), all while maintaining a 3.84 GPA in Finance.
