PREVIEW: UNC Indoor Track & Field Splits Weekend Between Colorado and UCCS Invites

GREELEY, Colo. – The Northern Colorado indoor track & field team will be split across two meets this weekend, with the majority of the jumping squad set to compete at UCCS while the remainder of the team heads to CU.
The Colorado Invite runs Friday and Saturday at the Ford Practice Facility in Boulder, Colo., while the UCCS Invite will be contested Saturday only at the Mountain Lion Fieldhouse.
LAST TIME OUT: Northern Colorado wrapped up competition at the Graduate Classic with another strong all-around showing, highlighted by additions to the program's all-time indoor list, multiple top-10 finishes and a runner-up relay performance.
On the women's side, Monique Stewart led the Bears in the middle distances, placing sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.31 to move into No. 6 on UNC's all-time indoor list. Donice Bruno-Ezealah paced Northern Colorado in the sprints with a 10th-place finish in the 200 meters, while additional contributions came across the event group.
The men delivered depth in the sprints, placing four athletes among the top 10 in the 200 meters, led by Raphael Egbuchilem's fourth-place effort. Logan Gullett added a top-10 finish in the 800, and UNC closed the weekend on a high note with a second-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay, capping a productive outing in Lincoln.
