Indoor Track and Field Announces 2026-27 Schedule

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado's indoor track and field program has released its 2026-27 schedule, a nine-meet slate that includes three home-state competitions in Colorado Springs, trips to Boulder and Albuquerque, and the Big Sky Indoor Championships in Bozeman, Mont.
The Bears open the indoor season Saturday, Dec. 12 with the UCCS Holiday Invite in Colorado Springs, their lone competition of the fall semester.
Competition resumes after the new year with the Colorado Invite in Boulder on Jan. 15-16, followed by the Air Force Lindeman Invite in Colorado Springs on Jan. 22-23.
Northern Colorado then travels to Albuquerque for the New Mexico Team Open on Jan. 29-30, before heading to Lincoln, Neb., for the Nebraska Frank Sevigne Husker Invite on Feb. 5-6 — the Bears' only indoor meet outside the Mountain and Pacific time zones prior to the postseason.
The regular season closes with two in-state meets: the Air Force Invite in Colorado Springs on Feb. 13 and the Colorado Last Chance in Boulder on Feb. 19.
The postseason begins with the Big Sky Indoor Championships in Bozeman, Mont., from Feb. 25-27, where the Bears will compete for conference titles. Qualifiers will advance to the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., from March 11-13.
The Bears' outdoor season opens in late March, with the full outdoor schedule to be released separately.
