Personal: A native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, John is majoring in Psychology and is expected to graduate in 2029. She graduated from Mitchell High School in 2025, where she was a multi-sport athlete, competing in volleyball, wrestling, basketball, and track & field. Standing 5-foot-6, John brings versatility and athletic range to the Bears’ jumps group. Her greatest sports memory came from competing at the state championships for the final time in her high school career. She chose Northern Colorado for the opportunity to continue her development as a track athlete while pursuing her academic goals, citing the supportive coaching staff and strong sense of team community as key factors. John is the daughter of Lakita Hill and Rico Hill and has three siblings: Shaheed, Rico Jr., and Aziel. Outside of competition, she enjoys reading and aspires to pursue a career in psychology, with the goal of supporting others, promoting mental health awareness, and helping individuals grow and heal.
