Personal: A native of Byers, Colorado, Garcia is majoring in Computer Information Systems and is expected to graduate in 2026. Garcia chose Northern Colorado for the opportunity to compete at the NCAA Division I level while preparing for life beyond track. He was drawn to the program’s emphasis on consistency, discipline, and daily improvement, and saw UNC as the right environment to grow as an athlete, student, and leader.
