2024-25
- Opened her 2024-2025 indoor track season with impressive performances at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on December 7. She competed in the 60m and 60m hurdle. She ran the 60m in 7.90 seconds in her first attempt and followed it up with 7.91 seconds in her second race, and completed the 60mH with a strong time of 8.58 seconds.
2023-24
- Opened the new year with a strong showing at the Illini Challenge (January 26–27). She posted consistent performances in the 60m hurdles, clocking times of 8.76 and 8.79 seconds, while also competing in the 200m, finishing with a time of 27.05 seconds.
- At the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational (February 2–3), she improved her 60m hurdles time to 8.77 seconds.
- Competing at the Tyson Invitational (February 9–10), Austin crossed the finish line in 8.84 seconds in the 60m hurdles.
- At the Air Force Indoor Last Chance Meet (February 16), Austin delivered her fastest 200m of the season, recording a time of 26.42 seconds. She also secured a solid 8.54-second finish in the 60m hurdles.
- Finished third in the 60mH at the Big Sky Indoor Championships with a time of 8.45.
PRIOR TO UNC
High School: A standout track and field athlete from Kingston, Jamaica, attended Glengoffe High School in St. Catherine, graduating in 2022. Competing in events such as the 100m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 60m hurdles, and 60m, she showcased her versatility and talent on the track.

Born on December 27, 2004, Alexia is the daughter of Terri-Ann Taylor-Austin and Alroy Austin.
