Things won't get any easier for UNC this week. Following a pair of wins against, Idaho, who came in sitting in first place and Eastern Washington who came in as the preseason favorite to repeat as Big Sky champs the Bears now head back on the road for a match against first-place Weber State.
"I think that our players are focused on doing well on the road," said UNC head coach Tim Barrera. "They know how hard it is to get points away from home."
The Wildcats come in as the No. 1 defense in the BSC, while UNC has scored more goals than any other team in the conference. WSU has allowed just three goals in four Big Sky matches, the Bears scored three goals in each win over the Vandals and Eagles.
"Our matches with Weber are always very competitive and usually one-goal games. They are definitely hard to score on but we will play like we play to get a goal," Barrera said.
