GREELEY, Colo. – The Northern Colorado softball team will host its first game of the year this Tuesday, March 10th against instate rival Colorado State. The Bears are coming off their trip to Mexico and currently hold 5-5-1 record on the season. The Rams come to Greeley with an overall of 8-12.
"We are really excited for our CSU game coming up next week," said head coach Shana Easley. "Each year it gets bigger and better and we hope to make this game the best yet for our in-state rivalry game. It's a great opportunity for the Colorado softball community to come out and support not only UNC softball but Colorado softball in general. We hope to give our fans a great experience and it looks like we will have great weather on top of that."
This single game will be the first of two games played between rivals. UNC will travel to Ft. Collins on March 25, 2015.
