UNC Softball Lands Three Student-Athletes On CSC Academic All-District Team

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado student-athletes continued to shine both academically and athletically, as three Bears earned recognition on the 2026 CSC Softball All-Distrcit Team.
To qualify for the honor, student-athletes must compete in at least half of their team's contests, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, and complete at least one academic term at their current Big Sky institution.
Northern Colorado softball was strongly represented, with three student-athletes earning CSC All-District honors for their success on the field and in the classroom.
Infielder Katie Walling earned CSC All-District recognition while maintaining a 3.81 GPA as a Psychology major. Walling started and appeared in all 46 games during the 2026 season, serving as a key contributor in the Bears' lineup.
Pitcher Anna Wilming also received All-District honors, posting a 3.77 GPA in Pre-Health & Biomedical studies. Wilming appeared in 28 games and made 24 starts in the circle for Northern Colorado.
Rounding out the honors was infielder Krista Francia, who carried a 3.78 GPA while pursuing a degree in Art Studio. Francia started all 46 games for the Bears this season and remained a consistent presence in the lineup.
