Drafted in the second round and 61st overall by the San Diego Chargers. Was named to two All-American first-teams and one second-team as a senior, one first-team and four second-teams as a junior and as an honorable mention kick returner in 2001. Still holds the school records in pass receptions (177), receiving yards (3,548), receiving touchdowns (37), all-purpose yards (5,810), punt return yards (1,024), overall touchdowns (39-tied). Is second in kickoff return yards (1,238) and tied in points scored (234). Also a second-team Academic All-American as a senior. Joined the basketball team four games into the season and finished as the team’s leading scorer at 13.6 points per game. He also averaged 5.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per contest and was fourth on the team with 24 steals in 2003-04 as a sophomore. As a freshman, he averaged 18 points per game on the hardwood.
