2007-08 • Freshman Year:Came within two of tying the Northern Colorado single-season recordfor three-pointers with 70, a total which also ranks ninth all-timein the Big Sky Conference... Nailed at least one three-pointers in26 of the team's 30 games... Was the top ranked freshman in the BigSky statistics in scoring, rebounding and three-pointers... Ranked54th in the nation in three-pointers made per game and 85th inthree-point field goal percentage... Tallied two double-doubles inscoring and rebounding and had a career-high five assists in theregular season finale against Sacramento State.
High School: Was a three-timefirst-team All-Marmonte League selection, as well as being named tothe first-team All-Ventura County team as a senior and asecond-team selection the two years prior... Was selected to AdidasTop Ten camp in Atlanta as well as the Nike NBC Camp in SantaBarbara... Her senior season was named the MVP of the NordhoffTournament after being an all-tournament selection in 2003-04...Was also the captain of the team as a junior and senior... Was amember of the National Honor Society... Averaged 18.3 points, 9.4rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals while shooting 85 percent fromthe free throw line in high school... Also was a middle blocker onthe volleyball team... Attended Thousand Oaks High School her firstthree years before graduating from Westlake.
Personal: Born in Tarzana,California to Michael and Cindy Kevorken, Kate is one of fourchildren with an older sister Megan, a younger brother Scott, whorecently signed an NLI to play volleyball at UC Irvine and ayounger sister Nicole... Family resides in Westlake Village...Plans on majoring in sports and exercise science at NorthernColorado.
