2008-09: In her return frominjury, Whitley averaged 12.5 points per game, which was second forthe Bears... Became just the 14th player in school history to score1,000 career points, scoring her 1,000th with a free throw againstEastern Washington at the 11:40 mark in the first half on Feb.21... Tied for third on the team in free-throw shooting, making76.7 percent... Just the fourth player in Division I era to score30 or more points in a game, scoring 31 in an overtime win againstMontana State on Jan. 22.
2007-08: Played in eightgames before sustaining a season-ending injury and using herredshirt season ... Led the Bears in scoring, averaging 20.1 pointsper game.
2006-07: Finished second on theteam in scoring after averaging 14.9 points per game and was thirdin rebounds with 5.1 per contest... Shot .414 from the field,making 150 of her 362 shots... Played all 40 minutes in threegames... Notched her lone double-double of the year with 18 pointsand 14 rebounds against Montana State... Scored 20 or more pointsseven times during the season... Started in 24 of the 27 games inwhich she played... Tallied a career-high 29 points in the seasonfinale against Portland State on 13-of-23 shooting from thefloor... Her 95 free throws is the 11th most in a single season atNorthern Colorado.
2005-06: Played in all 28 gamesas a true freshman, starting the last 14 of the year... Scored athen-career-high 16 points in the Bears' 67-64 win over Utah ValleyState on Feb. 21, making six free throws in the final 1:16 of thegame to help seal the victory... Was named Division I IndependentNewcomer of the Week after her 15 points against TexasA&M-Corpus Christi on Feb. 4, a game in which she made herfirst career three-pointer... Shot .826 from the free throw lineduring the year (38-of-46)... Notched five or more rebounds inseven games.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-yearletterwinner at Centennial High School for coach Karen Weitz... Wasa two-time all-state selection as a junior and senior... LedCentennial to its fourth straight state championship gameappearance after a 23 point, 14 rebound performance in thesemifinals... Played on three state championship teams... Averaged13.5 points and 8.9 rebounds as a senior... Shot 60 percent fromthe field, including 43 percent from beyond the arc in her seniorseason...
