2007-08 • JuniorYear: Finished the 2007-08 Big Sky Conference seasonranked third in the league in scoring at 17.8 points per game...Scored in double figures the last eight games, including three over20... Had six double-doubles in points and rebounds on the year,including two in the last four games... In the final conferenceonly statistics, she ranked third in field goal percentage (.497),fourth in free throw percentage (.904) and third in three-pointfield goal percentage (.431)... Named the Big Sky ConferenceNewcomer of the Year and an honorable mention all-conferenceselection... A Big Sky Academic All-Conference pick as well.
2006-07 • Sophomore Year• Colby CC: Was a second-team all-conferenceselection as well as an honorable mention all-region selectionafter averaging 16.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game... She alsoearned Academic All-American honors.
2005-06 • Freshman Year• Colby CC: Helped lead the team to a seventhplace finish at Nationals and the Region VI Champions with her 11.2points and 6.2 rebounds per game... For her efforts, she was namedto the Region VI All-Tournament team.
High School: Earned threeletters in basketball, four in track & field and two involleyball for Douglas High School in Wyoming... In basketball, shewas a two-time all-state and all-conference performer, as well asbeing named the MVP of the state championship game her senior yearin 2005, where the Bearcats won the state title both her junior andsenior seasons... She holds the school record for rebounds in agame with 20 and was also a team captain of both volleyball andbasketball her senior year... In volleyball, she was also atwo-time all-state and all-conference selection as a middleblocker... In track & field she was a two-time state championin the shot put, and she also competed in the horizontal jumps andthe discus... In addition to her athletic achievements, she was onthe Principal's Honor Roll all four years.
Personal: Born in Douglas,Wyoming, she is the only child of Jim and Melanie Schroeder... Sheis majoring in both sport and exercise science and psychology atNorthern Colorado... Her father, Jim competed in gymnastics for oneyear at Northern Colorado.
