- Missed season due to injury

- Played in one game last season for the Bears, allowing him to redshirt going into next season
- Had one rush for a yard against Northern Arizona.

- Gadek attended McKinney High School where he lettered in football all four years as well as Track and Field.
- In 2015 he was MVP Offensive player for McKinney High, and he was First Team all-District.
- In 2016 he was First Team All-District 6-6A Running Back, First Team All-Collin County 6-6A Running Back, Academic All-District, and MVP Offensive Player for McKinney High.
- In 2017 Gadek was First Team All-State, First Team All-Collin County, District MVP for 6-6A Running Back, MVP All-Collin County, Academic All-District, First Team All-DFW, as well as MVP Offensive Player for McKinney High.
- Gadek holds a state record of 599 rushing yards in one game.
- He is also an all time leading rusher for McKinney high, and for track and field, he won district for high jump.
