2014: Took a medical redshirt.
2013: Played 10 of 12 games, making 98 tackles; 40 unassisted, 58 assisted – the second most tackles on the team... Made 15 tackles; three unassisted and 12 assisted at UC Davis on Oct. 19… Also made 6.5 tackles for loss of 20 yards, one sack for six yards and one pass break up at Sacramento State… Recorded a forced fumble at Wyoming on Sept. 14.
2012: Played in 10 games, missing the season finale, and started the first nine of the year... Finished eighth on the team with 37 total tackles... Had the team’s longest fumble return of the year at 30 yards against Colorado Mesa, running it back for a touchdown... Broke up three passes, recorded 2.5 tackles for loss and combined for a sack... Recorded a career-best nine tackles against Northern Arizona and posted multiple tackles in each of the first eight games of the year.
2011 (at UCF): Appeared in 10 games as a true freshman with three starts... Recorded 19 tackles (13 solos) with 0.5 tackles for loss and one interception... Also saw time at defensive end... Was the only true freshman to start the season opener... Had a career-best five tackles at BYU on Sept. 23.
High School: Arguably the top defensive prospect to come out of the state of Colorado after the 2010 season, being named the 2010 All-Colorado Defensive Player of the Year... The program won three-straight state championships, including a 37-6 triumph over Aurora Regis Jesuit in the 2010 Class 5A title game to finish the year 14-0... Recorded four sacks in the title game... Team concluded the 2010 season on a 33-game win streak.. Was named to the All-Colorado Team in 2010, while also being tapped to the Class 5A all-state first-team... Recorded 156 tackles (36 solo), five sacks, three fumble recoveries and one interception during his senior season... As a junior, recorded 115 tackles (29 solo), 13 tackles for loss, one sack and one interception en route to Class 5A all-state honorable mention recognition... Also all-conference after his sophomore and freshman seasons... Was rated with four stars from Rivals, while ESPN and Scout listed him with three stars... A versatile linebacker, was rated No. 13 nationally at outside linebacker by Rivals and the No. 2 overall prospect on its Colorado postseason Top 20 in 2011... ESPN listed him at No. 23 nationally for inside linebackers and Scout had him No. 69 for outside linebackers... Lettered in track, competing in the 4x100 relay and long jump
