2009: Played in eight games, starting in the final five for the Bears... Despite missing three of the first four games of the year due to injury, was second on the team in tackles with 80... Led the team in tackles for loss with 8.5 and sacks with 5.5... Also tallied four quarterback hurries and forced four fumbles in his eight games... Recorded double figure tackles in the final four games of the year, including a career-best 17 in the finale at Montana... Against Portland State had 2.5 sacks for a total of 20 yards lost... Named to the Big Sky All-Conference Second Team at the conclusion of the season... Now ranks 10th on the school’s career charts with 15.5 sacks, which is the school’s Division I record.
2008: During the spring season, made the switch from defensive end to linebacker and will more than likely play a hybrid position... Received a medical hardship for the season after playing in just one game against Idaho State... In that contest, he had five tackles, including one sack for an eight-yard loss.
2007: Was an honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference selection... Played and started in 11 of the 12 games, missing the contest at Cal Poly... Led the team with 12.5 tackles for loss and with seven sacks (37 yards)... Tallied 42 total tackles on the year and was one of two players with two fumble recoveries... Had a season-best eight tackles against Chadron State and forced a fumble at Northern Arizona.
2006: Played in eight games, tallying 12 tackles from the defensive end position as a true freshman... Notched three tackles for a loss of eight yards, including two sacks for seven yards lost.
High School: Played on both sides of the ball (including running back) and was a team captain at Greeley Central... Was an honorable mention all-state selection by the Rocky Mountain News following his senior season... Also earned all-conference honors for the Wildcats... Competed in track and field where he ran the 100 and 200 meters and threw the discus... Earned academic honors.
Personal: Born March 26, 1988... Is one of three sons of David and Patty Eddy... Is a psychology major.
