2018
- Started all 11 games at left tackle.
- Helped the offense average 23.8 points and 366.3 yards per game this season.
- Apart of offensive line that set a program DI record for rushing yards in a game with 289 and two players who finished over 100 yards each in Milo Hall (128) and Trae Riek (118).
2017
- Was a starter on the offensive line, playing left tackle the majority of the time.
- Helped move the offense down the field as they averaged 386.6 yards per game and 27.8 points per game.
- Academic All-Big Sky member
2016
- Saw action in 2 games in 2016 for the Bears. Recorded 1 solo tackle against North Dakota.
- Academic All-Big Sky member
2015
- Missed the 2015 season due to injury.
2014
- Redshirted.
High School: Honorable Mention All-Conference for 2012 and 2013 offense. 1st team defense in 2013 and All-State in Ruby in 2013. On the Academic honor roll through 2011-2014.
Son of Dan and Debbie Layzell. Has two sisters in Megan and Katie. Born 12/21/95.
