Bears Travel to NAU for Big Sky Indoor Championships

UNC Begins indoor Postseaosn
GREELEY, Colo. – The UNC track & field team will head to Flagstaff, Arizona to begin the indoor postseason at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Walkup Skydome. The championships will run all day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The 2025 Big Sky Indoor Championships will be streamed on ESPN+, and live results will be available on Athletic Net for fans who are unable to attend. Tickets are available for Friday and Saturday for $15 per day for fans who wish to attend.
The meet will kick off Thursday morning with the women's pentathlon and the men's first day of the heptathlon. On Friday, running and field events will run simultaneously beginning with the second day of the heptathlon, the women's long jump and the men's 60m hurdles.
Saturday will also feature running and field events at the same time, beginning with women's high jump and the men's one mile run.
The final awards ceremony will take place at the conclusion of all field events on Saturday,

Jerome Campbell set a meet record at the Arkansas Qualifier, finishing with a time of 7.55 in the 60m hurdles. This ranks 24th in the world and fifth in the NCAA. His performance qualifies him for the World Championships in Nanjing, China. Regina Mpigachai set a UNC record and broke the record in the women's 800m for the third time this season, finishing with a time of 2:05.50. Nathan Plant recorded a personal best of 1:53.29 in the men's 800m and Edgar Garcia posted a season best time of 21.70 in the 200m.
