Track & Field Complete Day One of Big Sky Championships

The Bears Post a Solid Day in the Multi’s
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Bears kicked off the 2025 Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championships with a full day of multi's.
Sherika Thomas and Ciara Piffarerio finished 10th and 11th in the women's pentathlon. Thomas totaled 2,881 points with her best event in shot put, recording a throw of 10.14m. Piffarerio scored 2,733 points with a top mark of 1.53m in high jump.
On the men's side, Pollyea ended the first day of the heptathlon tied for third with 2,723 points. He finished second in long jump with a 6.63m leap to climb four spots.
Jameson Rembert sits in eighth after finishing near the bottom in the 60m and long jump but taking third in shot put and high jump.
Moise Bennet started in first after running 7.07 in the 60m. A 10th-place finish in long jump dropped him nine spots, where he stayed through the next two events. He closed the day with a personal best of 1.80m in high jump.
The men will complete the heptathlon in the morning before field and running events begin at 3 p.m.
