Bears Drop Exhibition to Rams

GREELEY, Colo. – In the final dress rehearsal before opening the regular season next week, the University of Northern Colorado fell to Colorado State 3-0 Friday at Jackson Stadium.
The Rams out-shot the Bears 5-1 in the opening 45 minutes but Kaya Lindberg turned away both shots on goal to send the sides to the locker room scoreless at the intermission.
Colorado State opened the scoring 13 minutes into the final stanza and doubled the score less than two minutes later.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
The Rams out-shot UNC 11-2, including 5-0 on goal.
Both sides earned two corners.
Northern Colorado committed one offsides, while Colorado State totaled five.
The Bears tallied possession 41%.
