Bears Blast Past Weber State for Series Win

A total of four UNC batters had multiple hits in the contest, with both Ella Gonzales and Alyssa Wenzel going 2-for-3. Wenzel scored three runs, while Gonzales batted in three and score one herself.
Weber State got on the board in the first inning, using a sac fly to score the early run. UNC strung together three hits in the third inning to score five funs. In the fourth, UNC added two more hits for three more runs. The Bears then scored their final two runs in the sixth.
Erin Caviness started in the circle for the Bears and pitched 4.1 innings. Isabelle DiNapoli came in during the fifth inning and only conceded two hits in 2.2 innings of action.

The Bears return home to Gloria Rodriguez Field to play their final games of the regular season, hosting Portland State, April 28-29.
