OMAHA, Neb. -- Craig Kenny delivered a grand slam in the top of the first inning, but Omaha rallied and defeated Northern Colorado 5-4 in the series opener Friday evening.Â

Kenny and Hayden Heinze each batted 2-for-4.Â

Jake King finished 1-for-3 and drew one walk and Dominic Palma batted 1-for-4.Â

As a team, the Bears produced six hits and drew three walks.Â

Trey Cruz started and was credited with the no decision. Cruz tossed five and one-third innings and scattered six hits, four runs, and four walks while striking out four batters. Murphy absorbed the loss. Murphy threw three innings, allowed three hits, one run, and two walks, and struck out five.Â
