Softball Heads to Texas for the Weekend

Northern Colorado softball faces Texas Tech and Incarnate Word
GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado softball returns to Texas this weekend looking to complete a two-step against Texas Tech and Incarnate Word. The Bears will play a pair of games against each team on Saturday and Sunday in Lubbock.

This is UNC's second trip to the Lone Star state, going 2-2 when they played in the Houston Tournament earlier this season.
Northern Colorado leads the Big Sky in batting average (.284) and is second in on-base percentage (.346). Kaileigh Holland leads the team's offensive charge hitting .358 on the year with six extra base hits and 20 RBIs.
Freshman Jenna Kobernick has also made an instant impact on the team hitting .400 having played in 17 games.
What's Ahead
UNC will return home for a mid-week doubleheader on Tuesday, March 22 at Gloria Rodriguez Field against Colorado School of Mines starting at 4 pm.
