Softball drops games Saturday

UNC softball fell to Nebraska and Southeastern Louisiana
Freshman Jenna Kobernick continues to make a good early impression for UNC going 4-for-6 over the two games driving home two runs.
Transfer Riley Plogger also hist .667 for the day going 2-for-3 and drawing three walks.
The Bears went down 2-0 in the first to Nebraska before tying it in the bottom half of the inning, Kobernick drove home her first of two runs brought in on the day as UNC tied it. The team was unable to settle into the game in the loss.
UNC's best opportunity against Sotheastern Louisiana came in the fourth inning, but they were unable to capitalize leaving five runners on the basepaths.
What's Ahead
Northern Colorado closes out its weekend with a contest against host New Mexico at 11:30 am.
