UNC softball faced Oregon State and Colorado State Sunday

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado softball closed out its weekend at the Colorado Classic against Oregon State and South Dakota State Sunday morning. The Bears dropped each game 15-0, and 10-1, respectively.

Dani Young had the best day at the plate for the Bears going 2-for-2 in the game against South Dakota State and scoring the lone run for the Bears.

Her run came in the bottom of the second. Young led off the inning with a single and was brought home on the next at-bat by Maddee Blood-Smyth. Blood-Smyth doubled down the left field line to score Young.

Both Oregon State and South Dakota State used big innings to defeat the Bears.

What's Ahead
Northern Colorado and Colorado State will play against each other again next weekend. UNC will play a doubleheader in Fort Collins next Saturday, March 13.
