Big Sky regular-season title on the line with Soccer hosting Idaho State and Weber State this weekend

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado will honor 10 seniors on Sunday against Weber State (Ashley Franza, Morgan Bury, Kalen Niedling, Erika Hall, McKenna Wilson, Cara Quinn, Olivia Seddon, Isabella Almazan, Lexi Pulley and Taylor Bray) as UNC looks to secure its first regular-season Big Sky title since 2011 and first-ever outright title since joining the conference in 2006.

Scouting the Bengals
The Bengals are coming off of one of its best weekends in the Big Sky this season. With an emphatic 2-0 win over Portland State and a narrow 1-0 loss to Sacramento State, ISU is playing some of its best soccer late in the season.
Idaho State has been led by freshman Gabby Warta. The Vancouver, Washington native has tallied a team-high four goals and has started every game for head coach Debs Brereton.
In goal, it's been McKayla Wetsel leading the charge. At 6.08 saves per contest, Westsel ranks third in the Big Sky Conference.
Fans can expect a physical matchup against the Bengals. Idaho State averages 8.16 fouls per game, the second-most in the conference, and is one of only two teams in the Big Sky to be assessed a red card this season.
History against Idaho State
Northern Colorado is 10-7-1 against the Bengals since first going toe-to-toe in 2005. However, the Bears have won each of the last four meetings, including both games in Pocatello last season when UNC held ISU to just six shots on goal across 180 minutes of soccer.
Scouting the Wildcats
In his second year at the helm of the Weber State program, Craig Sanders has made the Wildcats one of the toughest outs in the Big Sky. At 6-1, WSU enters the weekend tied with the Bears (18 points) and with the same chance at a Big Sky regular-season title.
The dynamic duo of Taylor Slack and Morgan Furmaniak has been lighting up the scoreboard in Ogden this fall. Slack, a senior, leads all goalscorers with five on the season while her freshman protege in Furmaniak has tallied four. Furmaniak has also racked up a team-high four assists to go along with her goalscoring effort.
Statistically, goalkeeper Kaytlin Bradley ranks as one of the best in the Big Sky. Bradley is second in goals-against average (.859), fourth in percentage (.806) and fourth in shutouts (3).
History against Weber State
Northern Colorado will be looking to take over the all-time record against Weber State. The Bears are 7-7-4 entering Sunday's matchup after a tie and a loss last spring.
Last Time Out
UNC split the road trip against Eastern Washington and Idaho last weekend. Taylor Bray scored in both matchups but two late second-half goals from Idaho gave the Vandals the Bears' only loss in conference play thus far.
On this Day
