Softball heads to New Mexico this weekend

Albuquerque, N.M.- Northern Colorado heads back on the road for the Susan Craig Classic in Albuquerque, New Mexico. UNC plays games against New Mexico and University of California, Santa Barbra Friday through Sunday.
About the Bear
The Bears went 1-4 last week at the Paradise Classic, winning one game against Memphis.
Mady Young had a .375 batting average as well has three hits and three runs in the first classic of the season.
About UCSB
UCSB is 1-4 after their first tournament of the season, winning against Santa Clara
Sammy Fabian is back for her junior year after leading the team last season with a .404 batting average and 24 runs scored.
New Mexico
New Mexico is 2-3 after the GCU Tournament. New Mexico won 9-4 against GCU and 2-0 against Stanford. The three losses came against Weber State, Stanford and GCU.
Briana Martinez currently leads the Lobos batting average with .385.
