UNC football fell to Sacramento State Saturday night
UNC started the game strong moving the ball into Sac State territory quickly on the first drive thanks to a 43-yard quick slant to Sam Flowers. Northern Colorado was forced to try a 47-yard field goal that ended up being wide left.
Flowers ended up having a career-best day for the Bears with three receptions for 61 yards.
Sacramento State moved the ball in the first quarter, but Northern Colorado's defense held strong allowing just one touchdown and forcing a pair of missed field goals.
After the first quarter it was all Sacramento State.
What They Said
Head Coach Earnest Collins Jr.
Tonight was disappointing for us. We must go back to the drawing board and fix it for next week and beyond. We still have a lot of games ahead of us and to keep playing for.
