Gameday Happenings
Prior to the game enjoy a free concert as the Tyler Walker Band preforms during Pepsi Fan Fest! Get there early and enjoy the local country band who has opened for country music stars such as Big & Rich, Travis Tritt, Midland, Carly Pearce, Kane Brown, Clay Walker, Eric Paslay, Sawyer Brown and rock legends Foreigner.
The pregame concert is one of just many events involved with the team's home opener. Along with the concert is the fifth annual Bears, Brews and Bites and the second annual Jam Nottingham.
Bears, Brews and Bites allows fans to sample local breweries and restaurants from over 10 breweries in the region. The event helps support UNC's Brewing Laboratory Science program with tickets for the event starting at $40 for unlimited tastings and food vouchers. For more information click here.

Opening Drive
Northern Colorado comes home looking for its first win of the 2019 season hosting old NCC rival South Dakota on Saturday. Both the Bears and 'Yotes enter the game still looking for their first win of the year.
The Bears started the season with three straight road games including a pair against FBS opponents San Jose State and Washington State. It was the first time since 1976 that UNC opened the season with three road games.
South Dakota comes to Greeley after falling in a shootout to Houston Baptist 53-52 at home. This will be USD's second game against a Big Sky team. They opened the 2019 season by hosting Montana who won the game 31-17.Â

• Quarterback Austin Simmons leads the South Dakota offense, ranking first in the nation with 32.0 completions per game and fourth in the nation with 342.3 passing yards per contest. He was named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week after passing for 537 yards and four touchdowns against Houston Baptist.
• USD has the 21st ranked offense in the all of the FCS raking up 444.3 yards per game.Â
• Defensively, South Dakota has intercepted five passes this season, but they have a -1 turnover margin. Â
