GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado (7-10, 3-3 Big Sky) returns home for week four of the Big Sky season as it hosts Idaho State (3-14, 0-4 Big Sky) on Thursday, Jan. 19 at 7:00 p.m. inside Bank of Colorado Arena.

Scouting Northern Colorado (Game Notes)
- The Bears come back to Greeley after going 0-2 in the state of Montana. UNC dropped to tough contests at Montana (89-68) and Montana State (68-53) and sit with a 3-3 Big Sky record.
- Junior guard, DJ Miles has emerged as the team's second scoring option behind sophomore guard, Jordan Davis. Miles is averaging 12.7 points per game and is shooting an impressive 44.6% from three-point range.
- Jordan Davis retained the Big Sky assist leader title for yet another week. Davis is averaging 5.5 assists per game, to go along with the 19.9 scoring average.
- The older of the Davis brothers, Gerad Davis recorded his first double-double of the season. Davis dropped a game-high 23 points and added 12 rebounds to his stat line in the loss against the Griz.
- Despite the loss, Northern Colorado still held the second leading scorer in the nation, Montana State's Tyler Hall to just 13 points, 11 points below his season average. In addition, the Bears kept the Bobcats to just 40% shooting on their home court.
Scouting Idaho State
- The Bengals are in the midst of a six-game losing skid after dropping contests to Eastern Washington and Idaho at home last week.
- ISU is paced by Ethan Telfair who is currently averaging 16.8 points per game on the season and 18.0 in conference games.
- Idaho State also has two other players averaging double figures this year in Brandon Boyd (12.9 ppg) and Geno Luzcando (10.1 ppg). Luzcando also ranks second in the conference in assists, averaging 4.8 per game.
- Idaho State ranks last in the Big Sky in scoring offense, averaging just 66.4 points per game. However, they do have one of the better defenses in the league, averaging 7.1 steals per game.
- ISU is still searching for its first Big Sky win as they are 0-4 on the season and 3-14 overall.
Marksman
- Junior guard, DJ Miles continued to add to his impressive season. Just two games removed from his 10 three-point field goal night, Miles poured in another five, going 5-of-10 (50%) from beyond the arc at Montana State to lead the team in scoring with 19 points.
- It was the fourth time this season that Miles made five or more three-pointers in a game and now has cashed in 50 treys this season.
- The junior has bumped up to No. 20 in the country in three-point field goal percentage, shooting 44.6% on the season.
Against the Bengals
- Northern Colorado and Idaho State first met 70 years ago in the 1947-48 season as the Bengals visited Greeley for a double-header. UNC dropped both contests 47-39 and 53-51 (OT).
- The two teams met on a consistent basis throughout the years to the 1962-63 season. After that, it would be 44 years before they met again after the Bears joined the Big Sky Conference during the 2006-07 season.
- ISU owns the all-time series lead at 33-19, including holding a slight edge over games played in Greeley at 14-12.
- Since joining the Big Sky, The Bears are 9-11 against the Bengals.
- Idaho State swept Northern Colorado last season, defeating the Bears 90-57 at home and 83-78 in Pocatello.
Grabbing Boards
- A heavy emphasis for UNC this season has been rebounding and the results are beginning to show.
- Northern Colorado ranks second in the Big Sky in rebounding margin at +2.3, only behind Eastern Washington's +3.3.
- The Bears are also at the top of the conference in defensive rebounds, averaging 28.0 d-boards a game. Furthermore, UNC leads the league in rebounding offense, averaging 38.8 per game.
- Northern Colorado currently has three players on the team averaging 5.0 or more boards a game in Jonah Radebaugh (5.3 rpg), Kai Edwards (5.2 rpg) and Ibrahim Sylla (5.0 rpg).
Setting The Bar
- Sophomore guard, Jordan Davis set a new Division I program record for consecutive games in double figures on Saturday as he scored 14 points at Montana State.
- Dating back to the 2015-16 season, Davis has now reached double figures in 22 games, breaking the previous record of 21 set by Jordan Wilson in the 2015-16 season.
- Davis is also 16 assists away from tying the Division I single-season assist record of 106 set by Elliott Lloyd in the 2010-11 season. Davis broke the single-game D1 assist record earlier this season when he had 10 dishes against Sacred Heart.
- The sophomore is still on pace to score 600 points this season, averaging 19.9 ppg. Davis currently has 338 points with 13 games to play.
