- Academic All-Big Sky member
- Played in all 32 games, starting in 16, averaging 20.1 minutes per game
- Averaged 5.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
- Grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds at Montana State
- Had three games with 10-plus rebounds
- Scored a season-high 13 points at Northern Arizona.
- Scored in double figures five times.

- Edwards played in 29-of-38 games and averaged nearly eight minutes a game.

- Scored a career-best 18 points in the win over Portland State at home on March 2.
- Recorded his first career double-double against North Dakota on Feb. 25.

-Edwards originally hails from Amsterdam, Netherlands, but has been playing his basketball at the junior level in Spain.
- Edwards has been at the Carias Basketball Academy, playing under CBA president, Rob Orellana.
- Made ann appearance at the 2016 League Autonomica final four playoffs where he led the team and started every game for them throughout the playoffs.
- Also played for the BC Apollo Amsterdam under18 team from 2013-15 and helped that team make an appearance in the semifinals of the playoffs.
Kai is the son of David and Simone Edwards. He is majoring in Business Marketing at UNC.
