@UNCBearsSoccer faces pivotal matchup against Sacramento State

Greeley, Colo – Northern Colorado Women's soccer won't have an easy Sunday walk in the park. Their bout against Sacramento could prove pivotal in the final Big Sky Conference Standings.
The top six teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the Big Sky Tournament. Northern Colorado is currently seeded fifth with nine points. Sacramento State is perched in third position with 11 points. A win on Sunday would Vault the Bears back into third.
The Bears are coming off their first home loss in 2016, falling to Portland State Friday night. UNC was held scoreless through 90 minutes, despite the Vikings surrendering six corner kicks in the game's second half.
Sacramento State on the other hand, has won two consecutive games. The Hornets bested the Bengals of Idaho State last Sunday and picked up their second straight victory Friday night in Grand Forks, defeating the Fighting Hawks, 2-1.
Sunday will mark the 13th meeting between the Bears and the Hornets. Sacramento State owns the all-time record with a mark of 6-3-3.
