FT COLLINS, Colo. -Â The Northern Colorado softball team would look to seek revenge from an earlier loss in the year, taking on in-state rival Colorado State this afternoon. CSU spoiled the Bears chances, taking the game 6-0. Â

The Rams jumped out to an early lead scoring two runs in the first and one in the second inning.
Â
They extended their lead to six runs in the third inning, when Danie Wikre homered to right centerfield scoring three.Â
Â
The Bears mustered a comeback in the seventh inning, but would fall short stranding two runners on base.
Â
CSU took the game by a score of 6-0.

The Bears will take on Big Sky opponent North Dakota this Friday, March 27 at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and will wrap up the series on Saturday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m.Â
