UNC Soccer On The Road For More Big Sky Play

The Bears take to the road to play Sacramento State, Portland State
GREELEY, Colo. - The Northern Colorado Women's Soccer team is on the road again this weekend for week 9 of their 2015 season. UNC will play the Sacramento State Hornets in Sacramento, California tonight [Friday], Oct. 16th, at 4:30 PM MT, before heading to Portland, Oregon, to face the Portland State Vikings on Sunday, Oct. 18th at 2:00PM MT.
This will be the eleventh time the Bears have played Sacramento State. The UNC squad has only defeated the Hornets once before, in Greeley in 2012, 2-0. Last season, the Bears lost in Greeley, 1-0, against the Hornets, but the season before that, the teams tied 0-0 in Sacramento.
Northern Colorado's series with Portland State currently sits at 3-7-1, following a tie last season in Greeley (1-1) and two losses the season before, both at Portland State - 3-1 loss in regular season play, and then 2-0 loss in the Viking-hosted Big Sky Tournament.
Next weekend, the Bears return to Jackson Stadium for their final regular season games at home, Friday [Oct. 23, 7PM MT] against Eastern Washington and Sunday [Oct. 25, 1PM MT] against Idaho.
