Northern Colorado Opens Road Swing at UC Riverside

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado women's soccer hits the road Thursday as the Bears travel to Riverside, California, to take on UC Riverside at UCR Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. MT.
The matchup begins a three-game road stretch for UNC as the Bears close out the non-conference portion of their schedule away from Greeley.LAST TIME OUT

The Highlanders are coming off a 2-1 home victory over North Dakota. UC Riverside erased a second-half deficit behind goals from Macie Baird and Lauren Nguyen, with Nguyen scoring the eventual game-winner in the 81st minute.

The Bears struck early against the Falcons, with Ava Marshall opening the scoring in the 12th minute for her first goal of the season off an assist from Maddie Mori. UNC carried the momentum through the first half and took a two-goal advantage into the break.
