Ava Marshall Earns Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week Honors

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado junior Ava Marshall took home her first Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Marshall helped the Bears snap a two-match skid against Air Force who came into the match with a 4-1 record. She got the UNC going early in the match scoring a goal off an assist from freshman Maddie Mori to take an early lead.
The pressure that Marshall provided on the offensive end, getting up three total shots with two on goal provided a big spark for the Northern Colorado offense.
This is the first honor for Marshall in her career and the second for UNC this season after Mori earned Offensive Player of the Week earlier this season.
For the first time since 2025 two different Bears have earned a Player of the Week award, and the first instance of two different players winning Offensive Player of the Week since 2022.
