Came back from her medical redshirt season to led the Bears to a postseason appearance, starting 19 of 20 games played in ... Finished tied for second in assists with three and tied for third in goals with three ... Her nine points recorded was the second best of her career ... Took 31 shots with 16 falling on goal ... Kicked one game-winning goal, coming in the 77th minute of a 2-1 win against Eastern Washington ... Finished her career at UNC at around the top of the record charts in game-winning goals (1st/6), shots attempted (4th/107), shots on goal (4th/55) and games played (t-15th/70).

Birdsall started in 14 of the 15 games she saw playing time ... She was hampered by a knee injury through some of her junior season but still managed to play an integral role in the Bears' Big Sky championship ... Finished her junior season with two goals and six points ... Her two assists was good for third-highest on the team ... She notched 23 total shots, with 10 coming on target (.435 SOG%) ... Birdsall's first point of the season came on Aug. 28 at home against Utah State, when she notched her fifth career assist ... She nailed the game-winning goal on the road against Creighton on Sept. 16 ... It was the senior's fifth career game-winner -- making her the active career leader in that category.

In just her second year in a Bear uniform, Birdsall had one of Northern Colorado's most outstanding individual seasons ... Started in all 19 games for the Bears ... Named the Big Sky Offensive MVP after posting eight goals and two assists ... Her eight points in conference play tied for the most in the league, earning her the Big Sky's Golden Boot ... Tied for the team-lead in points (18) and game-winning goals (2) ... Also finished with a team-high eight goals ... Finished in a tie for second-most shots on goal (20) ... Started her season off on the right note with two goals in the opening match against Wyoming ... Notched one goal in three straight matches ... Earned ESPN CoSIDA Academic All-American Second-Team Honors ... Named to the Big Sky Fall All-Academic Team.
