Led the team with 486 digs...finished career with 1,271 digs, 13th most in the program's history...Her 4.72 digs per set were second best in the Big Sky and had her ranked 63rd nationally...Had two 30 plus dig matches, 30 vs Delaware (8/29) and a career high 34 in a five set victory at North Dakota (10/31)...Matched career high in assists with six at Eastern Washington (11/12).
2014:
Appeared in all 33 matches as a junior...Finished with 466 digs, First on the team and sixth in the Big Sky in digs per set (3.88)...tied for fourth on team with 16 service aces...finished the season getting 10+ digs in 23 consecutive matches...had 20 plus digs in back to back matches against Northern Arizona (10/25) and Portland State (10/30)...set career highs in digs (26), service aces (3) and assists (6) during the season...Earned Big Sky All-Academic honors
2013:
Saw action in all 31 matches of her sophomore season...Was fourth on the team in digs (192) and service aces (15)...Posted a career-high 14 digs twice during the season (Oct. 10 vs. Portland State, Nov. 8 at North Dakota)...Recorded double-digit digs eight times.
2012:
In her freshman season, appeared in 31 matches and 89 sets, coming on stronger as the season went along ... After appearing in five of the Bears' first nine matches, she saw playing in every match after that stretch ... She finished the year with 127 digs and was sixth on the team with 1.43 digs per set ... Also notched 12 assists and six service aces while tallying a kill on the year ... Appeared in 55 sets in Big Sky play, finishing fifth on the team with 75 digs ... Recorded double-digit digs in five matches on the year, including a stretch in the middle of the year in which she notched double-digit digs in four of eight matches ... Capped off her freshman season with a career-high 12 digs in an NCAA Tournament First Round matchup first Oregon ... Averaged 8.7 digs/match over a six-game stretch in November ... Tallied 10 digs and tied a career high with three aces in a home match against Colorado State ... Recorded three service aces in a come-from-behind win over Idaho State in the Big Sky Championship final.
High School:
Was a key contributor to a volleyball powerhouse program throughout her high school career ... While playing just, several miles away from Northern Colorado, Garcia helped lead Valley High School to top-four finished in the Colorado 3A State Tournament in each of her four years as a full-time starter ... As a junior, she helped lead the Vikings to a 29-1 overall record and a state title while tallying a team-high 358 assists to go along with 57 aces, 171 kills, 269 digs and 13 blocks ... As a senior, she was named to the Denver Post's Class 3A All-State Volleyball Team while helping Valley to a 26-3 record and a trip to the semifinals of the state tournament ... Finished her senior year with 199 kills, 240 digs, 282 assists, 35 aces and 22 total blocks.
