Personal: Son of Tonya and Matthew Tarasenko. Has a twin sister, Ashley. Graduated high school in 2024 after a standout career in football and track. Spent the 2024 season at Santa Barbara City College before transferring to UNC. Named the 2023 Arizona Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-State 4A Quarterback after throwing for 3,074 yards and 41 touchdowns with a 72% completion rate as a senior. Honor Roll student. Enjoys fishing, spending time with loved ones, and telling others about Jesus. Pursuing a degree in Business Management. Chose UNC because the coaching staff believed in him and helps him grow into the player and person he desires to be.
