2011-12: In his sophomore season posted a record of 15-14, going 6-7 in dual matches... Placed Third at the Old Chicago Open winning 5 out of 6 matches... Went into overtime twice and won both duals... Had one fall, pinning Dustin Stiegemeyer from Western State in the third-place match at the Old Chicago Open... Won his opening round at the NCAA West Regional/WWC Championships, before dropping his next two bouts.
2010-11: Tallied a record of 14-16 overall, with a mark of 3-10 in duals... Had four wins by fall and one major decision... Won the title at the Utah Valley Open, placed second at the Cowboy Open and was third at the Old Chicago Open... Five of his 14 losses were to nationally ranked wrestlers.
2009-10: Redshirted ... Finished 3-2 with one pin while competing unattached.
High School: Placed second in state in 2007... Was state champion in 2008 and 2009... Had a perfect 85-0 record both his junior and senior year... Posted an overall prep record of 150-14... Helped lead Hornets' to two state championships in 2008 and 2009.
Personal: Was born on May 19 1990 in Richland, Wash... Son of Mark and Renee Bauer... Has one younger sibling.
