* Had wins against Spencer Empey of Cal Poly by decision (6-3) and Gaylen Edmo of Boise State by decision (3-1)

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE [2014-15]:
* Moved to heavyweight after wrestling 197lb a year earlier
* Complied an overall record of 18-9 on the year while also going 9-2 in dual meets
* Took first place in the Northern Colorado Open...
* Worked three pins on the year

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN [2013-14]:
* Went 5-2 to begin the season, including 1-2 in duals, before suffering a season-ending left shoulder injury in a dual against Colorado Mesa
* Prior to that, he took first place at 197 pounds at Northern Colorado's Old Chicago Open by going 4-0
* Faced one ranked opponent before his injury, Alex Polizzi of Northwestern who was ranked #19, and lost an 8-3 decision

FRESHMAN [2012-13]:
* Redshirted but went 7-2 while wrestling unattached
* Placed first at 197 pounds at UNC's Old Chicago Open Nov. 17 by recording four decisions
* Other three wins came in a 3-2 performance at Wyoming's Cowboy Open Nov. 3 in which he collected a pin and two decisions

Middle Park High School [Granby, Colorado]:
* A two-time state champion at 3A, he posted a perfect 43-0 senior season at 195 pounds
* Won the 3A 2011 state title at 189 pounds before winning the 2012 title at 195 for former UNC coach Ben Cherrington’s father, Cael
* Was also a 2011 NHSCA All-American and was a defensive tackle on the football team
