GREELEY, Colo. - Northern Colorado Wrestling is preparing for the 2026-27 season as the Bears enter a new chapter in program history with their first season in the Pac-12 Conference.
The Bears will give fans their first look at the team on Friday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m. during the annual Blue and Gold Scrimmage. The event will provide an opportunity to see the team in action ahead of the season opener.
Northern Colorado will officially open the season at home on Sunday, Nov. 8, hosting No. 17 Oklahoma at 2 p.m. inside Bank of Colorado Arena. The matchup will mark the beginning of a challenging schedule as the Bears prepare to compete against new conference opponents and established programs.
Entering his second season at the helm, Head Coach Teyon Ware looks to build on his first year with the program while continuing to develop a competitive roster featuring key returners and experienced newcomers.
With the Blue and Gold Scrimmage serving as the first opportunity for fans to see the team compete, excitement is building for another season of Northern Colorado Wrestling.
