Javorsky and Chacon Named to Big Sky Conference All-Tournament Team

GREELEY, Colo. – Senior catcher Sabrina Javorsky and graduate student outfielder Nya Chacon have been named to the Big Sky Conference All-Tournament Team, the league announced Saturday following the conclusion of the championship tournament.
Javorsky was a key force behind the plate and at the plate throughout the tournament. The senior catcher hit .643 (9-for-14) with a double, a triple, two homeruns, eight RBIs, and a .706 on-base percentage.
Chacon, a graduate transfer and veteran presence in the outfield, showcased her offensive prowess with a .563 batting average (9-for-16) over the course of the tournament. She scored four runs, drove in 11, and recorded two doubles, three homeruns, and a tournament leading 20 total bases. Defensively, Chacon provided steady leadership in the outfield and recorded five putouts without an error.
This marks the first All-Tournament honor for both players, capping off standout seasons and exemplary careers with the program.
