Quarterback Eric Gibson completed 17 of 28 passes for 151 yards, while Peter Costelli added 29 passing yards and 19 on the ground. Brandon Johnson led the Bears on the ground with 36 rushing
yards and a 3-yard touchdown, while Mathias Price and Justin Guin combined for 47 yards rushing.
Wide receiver Brayden Munroe paced the receiving corps with 64 yards on four catches, including a 30-yard grab. Fellow wideouts Luke Wooten and Carver Cheeks each caught four passes, totaling 31 and 28 yards, respectively. Tight end Charles Garrison added three receptions for 21 yards.
On defense, safety Franky Morales anchored the effort with a game-high 11 tackles. Safety Darrell Bryant Jr. added nine stops, while corner Evan Harrell and linebacker Zach Nowatzke each chipped in six. Defensive lineman Makur Abram recorded three tackles and one for loss.
Kicker Jacob Willig was perfect on special teams, converting a 32-yard field goal and one PAT. Punter Leo Blumentritt averaged 41.2 yards on four punts, placing one inside the 20-yard line.
Northern Colorado will make its final road trip of the 2025 season on Saturday, Nov. 15 against Eastern Washington. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. MT on ESPN+.
