Dulany Leads Bears to Ninth-Place Finish at Monterrey Collegiate Classic

SAN PEDRO GARZA GARCIA, Mexico – Northern Colorado men's golf closed out the Monterrey Collegiate Classic on Saturday, finishing ninth overall at +7 in the 12-team field at Club Campestre Monterrey.
The Bears carded rounds of 289 (+1), 293 (+5), and 289 (+1) over the 54-hole event hosted by George Washington. VCU captured the team title in dominant fashion at 30-under par, followed by UTRGV and Richmond tied for second at 10-under.
Kaelen Dulany led the way for UNC with a strong weekend performance, climbing into 16th individually at 3-under (73-71-69). He capped his event with a 3-under final round that marked one of the Bears' lowest scores of the day.
Lucas Raoul and Tommie Clark each tied for 33rd at 3-over par, while Cooper Tate finished tied for 39th at +5. Rounding out the lineup, Rowan MacDonald tied for 62nd at +12. Competing as an individual, Thomas Barnes Grimes finished 69th at +17.
