LITCHFIELD, Ariz. – Northern Colorado closed out the Big Sky Conference Championship with its strongest round of the tournament on Wednesday, firing a final-round 278 (-9) to secure a third-place finish in the team standings at Wigwam Resort.

The Bears finished the championship at 857 (-7) after rounds of 293, 286, and 278, steadily improving each day to close the event on a high note against a competitive conference field.

Leading the way for Northern Colorado was Kaelen Dulany, who delivered one of the best individual performances of the tournament. Dulany carded a final-round 66 (-6) to finish the championship in third place overall at seven-under, climbing the leader board with consistent play over the final 36 holes.

Thomas Barnes Grimes also turned in a strong championship showing, tying for sixth place at four-under on the tournament. He capped his tournament with a four-under 68 in the final round, helping anchor UNC's lowest team score of the week.

Cooper Tate and Matias Koropeski both finished tied for 16th at two-over par. Tate posted a 73 (+1) in the final round, while Koropeski closed with a steady even-par 72 to contribute valuable scores for the Bears.

Rounding out the lineup, Tommie Clark finished tied for 23rd at seven-over after a final-round 73 (+1).
