Tate, Dulany Pace Bears Through Opening Round at Compadres Collegiate

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mex. – Northern Colorado men's golf completed the opening round of the Compadres Collegiate on Sunday, finishing the day in sixth place on the team leader board.

The first round presented a strong challenge across the course, but the Bears established a solid starting position with plenty of tournament golf remaining.

Cooper Tate and Kaelen Dulany paced Northern Colorado on Day One, each carding rounds of +2 to sit T8 individually. Both players displayed consistency throughout the round and remain within reach as the field prepares for the second day of competition.

Lucas Raoul followed with a +6 round, placing him T28, while Rowan MacDonald (T37, +8) and Tommie Clark (T51, +12) worked through a demanding opening round and will look to bounce back on day two.

Competing as an individual, Takato Imoto finished the day at +17.

As a team, Northern Colorado stands sixth out of nine teams at +18, positioning the Bears to make a move up the leader board as tournament play continues.
