2024 Soccer Schedule Announced

GREELEY, Colo. – Tim Barrera, University of Northern Colorado women's soccer head coach, announced the release of the 2024 schedule.
The slate includes 19 matches, with 10 on the Bears' home pitch at Jackson Stadium. UNC returns nine starters from last season's squad and welcomes nine new student-athletes to this year's team.
"We are excited for the 2024 season," Barrera said. "We have a challenging and balanced schedule. The Bears are excited to get going."
Air Force and Colorado bookend a three-match homestand to open the campaign. The Bears and Air Force lift the lid on the season in Greeley Thursday, Aug. 15. UNC hosts South Dakota State Monday, Aug. 19, before concluding the opening week against in-state rival Colorado State Thursday, Aug. 22. All three contests kick off at 7 p.m.
The Bears embark on their first road swing of the season at Colorado College Aug. 25 at 6 p.m., before heading to Northern Virginia. They face off against George Mason at 5 p.m. MT, Thursday, Aug. 29 and conclude the trip at Loyola in Baltimore at 10 a.m. MT Sept. 1.
UNC's remaining non-conference schedule includes Wyoming (Sept. 5), South Dakota (Sept. 12) and Buffalo (Sept. 15), with trips to Iowa State (Sept. 8) and UMKC (Sept. 22).
The Bears face each of the other eight Big Sky Conference opponents once each,
Montana – the 2023 Big Sky regular season champions – travel to Greeley October 6, while the defending tournament champion Vandals of Idaho close out the regular campaign at Jackson Stadium October 27. The Bears host Northern Arizona (Oct. 3) and Eastern Washington (Oct. 24) in the Bears' other two conference home contests.
UNC begins Big Sky play with a road trip to Weber State (Sept. 26) and Idaho State (Sept. 29). They visit Portland State (Oct. 10) and Sacramento State (Oct. 13).
