Chacon Earns Big Sky Conference Player of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah – Nya Chacon's dominance at the plate garnered her the Big Sky Conference Player of the Week as the Bears swept Montana.
Chacon batted .545 through the three games over the weekend, recording six hits, four runs, and 10 RBIs. Her seven RBIs in game two of the weekend series ties a Big Sky Conference single-game record. Of her six hits, three of them were home runs.
Defensively, Chacon recorded three putouts and one assist.
The Bears return to action this weekend and host Weber State for a three-game series.
